PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit equipped with an amplifier circuit capable of further reducing current consumption. SOLUTION: When a control signal VP1 is "H" level and a control signal VP0 is "L" level, capacitors CL1, CL2 are completely discharged. Then, when the control signal VP1 becomes "L" level and the control signal VP0 becomes "H" level; complementary switches SW1, SW2 are turned on, and constant current IB flows from a current source 3 via P channel MOS transistors MP1, MP2 in accordance with input voltages VIP, VIN. Thus, capacitors CL1, CL2 are charged with electric charges. Output nodes N2, N1 have values corresponding to the voltage values of the input voltages VIP, VIN, and a differential amplification operation is executed. That means, since the constant current IB from the current source 3 is not consumed in operations other than the operation for charging the capacitors CL1, CL2 used as a load for amplification operation, the operation can be achieved at the low current consumption.
