PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-practical active stabilizer system. SOLUTION: The stabilizer system can change a roll suppression force exerted by a stabilizer bar according to an operating amount of an actuator having an electric motor as a driving source. In the stabilizer system, a drive circuit use control or a resistor use control can be selectively performed. In the drive circuit use control, the roll suppression force is controlled by using a drive circuit. In the resistor use control, resistance against motion of the actuator by an external force is given, by using a resistor consuming electric power generated by the electric motor from an electromotive force generated in the electric motor by an external force such as change in roll moment. In this system, the drive circuit use control is performed at normal times, and the resistor use control is performed in the process of reduction in operating amount of the actuator, so as to prevent or suppress problems such as overload on the actuator, abnormal noise and vibration, caused by the drive circuit use control in the process of reduction in operating amount.
