METHOD FOR DRIVING LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that achieves a longer life time by suppressing the initial degradation of a light emitting element and that is driven to achieve display with high duty.

SOLUTION: A reverse bias power supply line 112 and a reverse bias TFT 108 are disposed so as to apply a reverse bias to an EL element 109 by each row. Since a reverse bias can be applied by synchronizing with an operation such as writing a video signal, light emission and erasion, the reverse bias can be applied while maintaining the duty similar to that of a conventional driving method.
