PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in a fuel cell in which air is supplied as a scavenging gas to an anode side after a relatively short time after the remaining hydrogen gas is sufficiently exhausted by stopping supply of hydrogen gas to the anode side, the moisture remaining inside an electrolyte membrane or the like cannot be sufficiently exhausted.
SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with a membrane electrode assembly which has an electrolyte membrane, an anode and a cathode contacting the electrolyte membrane, and generates electric power by using a reaction gas, a pressure adjustment part which reduces at least one of pressure out of the anode and the cathode when supply of the reaction gas to the membrane electrode assembly is stopped, and a drainage treatment part which implements water drainage treatment on the pressure-reduced electrode side of which pressure is reduced at least by the pressure adjustment part out of the anode and the cathode. The drainage treatment part implements drainage processing when a prescribed condition is satisfied after the pressure adjustment part has reduced the pressure.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
