<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a bearing device for a drive wheel, which is improved in work efficiency at disassembling/assembling time thereby to reduce the cost and which eliminates a circumferential backlash of engaging portions thereby to attain reliability and steering stability. <P>SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a fitting profile, a tapered surface is formed on a hub ring 1 where the fitting profile is formed by forging. Next, a square spline shaped recession groove straight in an axial direction is formed by a broach cutter. The recession groove has a negative pressure angle α, and has a dovetailing shape section. Then, a tilt angle β is formed by vibration pressing. A slide part 41 is lowered while a protrusion 42a of a punch 42 is vibrated with a prescribed frequency, and thereby, the fitting profile is formed on the hub ring 1 as a workpiece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
