PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving operation mechanism of a lawn mower, which is capable of always stably sustaining a lawn mower and good in operability easy in quick operation. SOLUTION: The driving operation mechanism is such that, in a lawn mower driven electrically or by an internal combustion engine and equipped with an operative handle 80 where the respective rear ends of left and right long handles extended rearward from the lawn mower body supported on wheels are joined each other via a grip 82, a first operative member 84 is disposed near the center of the grip 82 of the operative handle 80, and a second operative member 85 swingably pivoted on the operative handle 80 is provided in front of the grip 82 so as to approach to or separate from the grip 82, and by operating the first operative member 84 and the second operative member 85 consecutively, the lawn mower is driven.
