<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary self-propelled endoscope apparatus, capable of preventing damage of the insertion section and the appliances and having a stable insertion property, even if an unnatural load is applied to an insertion section and appliances. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary self-propelled endoscope apparatus 2 is characterized in having the insertion section 10 with a spiral tube 51 rotationally turning around the long axis, a spiral tube rotation driving section 59 giving a rotation driving force around the long axis to the spiral tube, and a rotation transmission mechanism 62 capable of restricting a torque generated by the spiral tube rotation driving section and transmitting the rotation driving force to the spiral tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
