摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weir structure which can prevent the entry and deposition of particles in a channel when a backflow is generated due to an external factor. SOLUTION: A special weir 7 is formed by setting, in the discharge channel 1: a partition wall 9 partitioning the width of the discharge channel 1 into two sections; facility-side weir boards 13 each having an inflow port 15 formed therein at a height higher than a water level of water 21 on a facility side 27; and sea-side weir boards 17 each having a discharge port 19 formed therein at a height lower than a water level of water 25 on a sea side 31, and arranged on the downstream side of each facility-side weir board 13 across a predetermined interval. The facility-side weir boards 13 and the sea-side weir boards 17 are arranged on both sides of the partition wall 9, and one side of each of the weir boards is fitted into a groove 5 formed in a side wall 3 while the other side is fitted into a groove 11 formed on the partition wall 9. In the special weir 7, the water 21 discharged from a facility toward the facility side 27 flows from the inflow ports 15 to fall into a gap between the facility-side weir boards 13 and the sea-side weir boards 17 as a channel 47, and bursts from the discharge ports 19 toward the sea side 31.
