PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition sufficiently excellent in light resistance and able to form optical members sufficiently preventing coloration even when irradiated especially by rays in the near ultraviolet region. SOLUTION: The resin composition contains a polymerizable compound and an organic compound having a C-S bond or an O-S bond in the molecule. The organic compound has one or more species of skeletons selected from a group consisting of a sulfone skeleton, a sulfite skeleton, a sulfate skeleton, a sulfoxide skeleton, a sulfonate skeleton, a sulfonamide skeleton, a sulfonic acid halide skeleton, a sultone skeleton and a sultam skeleton, in the molecule.
