Method and devices for matching data between a manager and an agent in a management network The invention relates to a method for operating a management network of a telecommunications network comprising a manager (NMC 1 , NMC 2 ) and an agent (OMC 1 ), in which the manager (NMC 1 , NMC 2 ) and the agent (OMC 1 ) communicate with each other using an object model. In accordance with the object model objects (MOI<SUB>I</SUB>, MOI<SUB>j</SUB>, MOI<SUB>k</SUB>, MOI<SUB>m</SUB>) are assigned object classes (MOC<SUB>I</SUB>, MOC<SUB>j</SUB>, MOC<SUB>k</SUB>, MOC<SUB>m</SUB>) . The manager (NMC 1 , NMC 2 ) sends a request (getConfigurationChanges Request) for data matching to the agent (OMC 1 ). In accordance with the invention the manager (NMC 1 , NMC 2 ) receives in repose to its request (getconfigurationchanges Request) information from the agent (OMC 1 ) exclusively about objects (MOI<SUB>I</SUB>, MOI<SUB>j</SUB>, MOI<SUB>k</SUB>, MOI<SUB>m</SUB>) and/or alarms in relation to which a change has occurred since a specific point in time (t 0 , t 1 , t 6 ).
