<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prism sheet for a liquid crystal backlight device composed by reducing the number of components, and by preventing generation of moire stripes. <P>SOLUTION: This prism sheet 5x is formed by forming a transparent resin layer (acrylic layer) 6 on a transparent resin film (PET film) 7 having a refraction index of 1.5±0.05 by superposing it on the emitting surface side of a light guide plate constituting the liquid crystal backlight device. The transparent resin layer 6 is provided with a plurality of V-shaped grooves where angles (apex angles) α each formed by two surfaces have a distribution of 80°-100°; the lengths of the V-shaped grooves are distributed in a range of 1-100 mm in a random manner; and the pitches of the V-shaped grooves are distributed in a range of 0.001-2 mm in a random manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
