PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inexpensive and miniaturized liquid reservoir while simplifying an operating mechanism of an atmosphere communication valve and that of a pressure adjusting valve in the liquid reservoir. SOLUTION: The liquid reservoir comprises an opening/closing lever 57 and holder 58 (the atmosphere communication valve), which are capable of closing tubes 71 connected to atmosphere communication ports of sub-tanks 50a-50d, and each valve shaft 55a (the pressure adjusting valve) for opening/closing an opening part to allow liquid reservoired in each first liquid chamber of the sub-tanks 50a-50d to flow out toward each second liquid chamber. The opening/closing lever 57 and each valve shaft 55a are interlocked with each other by a mechanically-common valve drive mechanism 80 (a cam shaft 81 and a drive motor 83).
