PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking device and a lifting device, stably operable with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: Instead of a conventional parking device, this device has a plurality of storage shelves, a lifting carriage, a left side auxiliary idler wheel and a right side auxiliary idler wheel respectively rotatably supported by the lifting carriage, a main cable for suspending the lifting carriage, a first auxiliary cable extended in a cross shape between the right side auxiliary idler wheel and the left side auxiliary idler wheel, fixing upward turning one end part and fixing the downward turning other end part, a second auxiliary cable extending in a cross shape between the left side auxiliary idler wheel and the right side auxiliary idler wheel, fixing upward turing one end part and fixing the downward turning other end part, and a hoisting device having a driving sheave of winding the main cable on the outer periphery, a driving mechanism capable of rotatingly driving the driving sheave and a counterweight.
