PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin pre-expanded particle which has good secondary expandability, is excellent in surface nature and dimensional stability and thus can easily yield a molded product of various shapes including complicated shapes without interfering with heat resistance, solvent resistance, heat insulating properties and cushioning properties inherent in a polypropylene resin at all. SOLUTION: The polypropylene resin pre-expanded particle comprises a polypropylene resin composition as a base resin, wherein the polypropylene resin composition contains (a) at least one chosen from a petroleum resin and a terpene resin and (b) at least one chosen from a hydrophilic polymer and a compound having a triazine skeleton.
