<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing the inside and outside of the main body of the image forming apparatus from being soiled with powder scattering or falling produced from a unit when the unit to be detached or attached is replaced. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an inner door 95 that opens/closes an opening where a toner cartridge 37 to be detached or attached is attached; a powder receiving member 91 disposed below the toner cartridge 37 and moves linked with the opening/closing of the opening. When the inner door 95 opens the opening, the produced scattering toner is received by the powder receiving member 91.
