A transflective diode substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify a process by using a two-terminal type diode instead of a three-terminal type TFT(Thin Film Transistor) as a switching device, thereby manufacturing the substrate through 3 mask processes. Plural reflection areas comprise scan electrodes(134a,134b), an insulating pattern(130) formed on the scan electrodes, diodes(D1,D2) including a pixel electrode(116), plural organic material patterns(138) formed around the diode and a reflection electrode(142) overlapped on the organic material pattern, and reflect light. A transmission area is interposed between the reflection areas and transmits the light. The pixel electrode is formed in the reflection area and the transmission area.
