A drum type washing machine is provided to simplify assembly process and to guarantee bearing force for the stator located at a rear side wall of a tub. A drum type washing machine comprises a tub(2), a motor, and a bearing housing(7). The tub stores water and has a base unit. The motor has a rotor(5) and a stator(6) located at the base unit. The bearing housing is integrally formed with the tub and contains a bearing. The bearing supports a rotation shaft of the rotor. The bearing housing has a hub unit(7c) wherein a mount unit is formed. The stator is mounted at the mount unit. The mount unit is projected from an outer surface of the base unit of the tub and a body. The mount unit has a combining hole wherein the stator is combined. The remainder parts of the mount unit where the combining hole is not formed, are concaved to inwards of radius direction. |
