<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recirculate exhaust gas to a combustion chamber while suppressing deterioration of a function of a component provided on a passage of the recirculated exhaust gas due to the high-temperature exhaust gas, in an engine wherein the exhaust gas is recirculated to the combustion chamber. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas recirculation control device is provided with a first exhaust gas recirculation passage 15 for recirculating exhaust gas from an exhaust passage 11 to an intake passage 5; a first valve 17 for adjusting the amount of exhaust gas recirculated to the intake passage 5 via the first exhaust gas recirculation passage 15; a parameter value detection means 30 for detecting a parameter value related to the temperature of the exhaust gas recirculated to the intake passage 5 via the first exhaust gas recirculation passage 15; and a first valve control means for controlling the first valve 17 when the exhaust gas temperature indicated by the parameter value detected by the parameter value detection means 30 is high, such that the amount of the exhaust gas recirculated to the intake passage 5 via the first exhaust gas recirculation passage 15 is reduced compared to the case where the exhaust gas temperature is low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
