A bottom heating type electric heater assembly and a synthetic resin drying hopper having the heater assembly are provided to dry and discharge synthetic resin pellet at an appropriate temperature level by arranging a heating unit in an upper portion of the drying hopper and a heat radiation portion in a lower portion of the drying hopper. A bottom heating type electric heater assembly(10) includes an electric heating member, an electric heater, and a heat radiation member(20). The electric heating member has a top surface with a through-hole, The electric heating member has an inclined surface formed on the top surface in such a manner that the inclined surface is lowered as it goes toward the through hole. The electric heater is arranged around the through hole of the electric heating member. The heat radiation member has one end mounted on the electric heating member, and a plurality of pellet paths(40) formed in a lengthwise direction in such a manner that the pellet paths are directed toward the inclined surface of the electric heating member.
