A mobile communication device having a sound mixing function and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to recreate a music giving a wanted atmosphere by using an existing music such that the user can enjoy a new interest. A mobile communication device having a sound mixing function comprises a controller(108), a memory(105), a key inputting unit(106), and a display unit(107). The controller(108) executes a DJ function by a DJ algorithm stored at the memory(105). In other words, the controller(108) detects keys pushed by a user, regenerates sound set at the keys according to the key operation, and mixes a regenerated music with the regenerated sound. The sound can be from human voice, animals, musical instruments and nature or other music besides the regenerated music. The display unit(107) outputs a DJ execution screen under control of the controller(108). The key inputting unit(106) includes an operation direction key or an operation speed control key for enabling the user to feel the user himself or herself operate a real record disc or perform an DJ operation.
