<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for eliminating a leakage of personal information and attaining attendance confirming operation in a short time regarding an attendance management system for managing attendance by biometric authentication with IC cards. <P>SOLUTION: In an attendance management program, a living body data input processing part 23 in an attendance management terminal 20 provided in a classroom stores a record of living body data read from attendants by a living body data reading part 21 before the start of a lecture, the reading date and time, a terminal ID, and the like into a collation data storage DB 26. After the last lecture of the day is completed, an IC card reading part 22 reads the IC cards of the attendants. A living body data collation processing part 24 transmits collation result data to an attendance management server 10, wherein the collation result data associates school register numbers read from the IC cards, with template living body data read from the IC cards and the date and time of all the records with which the living body data coincides, the terminal ID, and the like.
