<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the scale of a driving circuit by making the size of a smoothing capacitor small. <P>SOLUTION: The driving circuit is provided with a rectifying part (a rectifying diode bridge circuit RDB) rectifying an alternating-current voltage, a voltage smoothing part (C2 and R1) connected between the rectifying diode bridge circuit RDB and a light-emitting element (LED101), including a smoothing capacitor C2 with one electrode charged by an almost direct-current voltage and smoothing the almost direct-current voltage and outputting it to the LED101, a discharge element (a MOS transistor Q1) for discharging one of the electrodes of the smoothing capacitor C2, a discharge trigger part 21 switching on the MOS transistor Q1 when a voltage of that one electrode reaches a given voltage, and a discharge stopping control part 22 switching off the MOS transistor Q1 in delay from discharge start. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
