PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demolding method of an elastic roller 10 capable of easily ejecting an elastic roller 10, which is composed of the shaft 1 arranged to the hollow part of a cylindrical mold 21 in parallel to the mold 21 and the elastic layer 2 formed by injecting a material in the hollow part to cure the same, even the elastic roller 10, of which the elastic layer 2 is thin, which can be demolded with ease from the mold 21. SOLUTION: After a cap is detached from the cylindrical mold 21 and at least one end of the shaft 1 is displaced in the radial direction of the mold 21 to form a gap (d) between the elastic layer 2 and the inner peripheral surface 21a of the mold 21, either one of the ends of the shaft 1 is pressed or pulled to demold the elastic roller 10.
