<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method and a system for generating response information for each of subjects according to a work flow for managing the work flow. <P>SOLUTION: A document server receives a document about a certain subject (105), requests it (115), and summarizes it into a subject record. If further information about the document is necessary (110, 125), an electronic notification message having a form including some response fields is transmitted to an agent (140). The form is described in a regulation base language, for example, an XML readable by a computer system. The agent inputs the response information in the response field (145) and transmits an electronic response message including the response information to the document server (150).
