PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably operate a processing apparatus by preventing a foreign matter from mixing inside the processing apparatus which is equipped with a crushing mechanism or a cutting mechanism. SOLUTION: In a feed hopper 30, a bottom plate 30A is formed with a number of sieve pores 32 for removing a foreign matter mixed in an object to be processed, so as to remove the foreign matter such as soil and pebble from the sieve pores 32, thereby preventing the foreign matter from mixing in the processing apparatus 10 and the stable operation of the processing apparatus 10 becomes possible.
