The pump has a curve ring (5) surrounding a rotor (4), and side walls covering the rotor and the ring. An annular space is bordered by the rotor, ring and the walls. Separation bodies (9) are supported by the rotor and divide the annular space in a circulation direction. A low-pressure side supply opening (14) is attached to the space, and a high pressure side supply opening (15) is attached to the space. The high supply opening is arranged at a distance to the low supply opening in the circulation direction, where the low supply opening has sufficient effective width.
