PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide diagnostic imaging support equipment and its processing method capable of executing an appropriate diagnosis by effectively using generated diagnosis support data without being restricted by an applicable external device and avoiding an increase in the amount of transmission data to be transmitted from the diagnostic imaging support equipment to the external device. SOLUTION: When a diagnostic imaging apparatus 16 can recognize CAD data based on the selection of a transmission data selection part 62, this diagnostic imaging support equipment transmits original image data before processing obtained by a mammography apparatus 12 and CAD data generated from the original image data to the diagnostic imaging apparatus 16, and when the diagnostic imaging apparatus 16 cannot recognize the CAD data, transmits the original image data and a CAD result image formed by importing the CAD data in the original data to the diagnostic imaging apparatus 16.
