PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device structure, for easily setting each sensor unit without complicating the structure. SOLUTION: The sensor system 100 comprises a plurality of sensor units 1 adjacently disposed. Each sensor unit 1 comprises a detection means for detecting a detection object; a processing means for detecting the detection object according to a set processing content; a setting means capable of setting the processing content to be executed by the processing means; a receiving means capable of receiving a transmission signal from another sensor unit adjacently disposed on one side; and a transmitting means transmitting the transmission signal to another sensor unit adjacently disposed on the other side. The sensor unit further comprises a control means making the processing means execute the processing for detection based on the set processing content, and making the transmitting means transmit the processing content as the transmission signal.
