The supply to the motor unit is maintained during a predetermined time space independent from the duration of manual maneuvering of the workshop trolley. A standby power is delivered by pulses during the predetermined time space. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a workshop trolley for implementing a manual maneuvering assisting method. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for assisting manual maneuvering of a workshop trolley that is utilized for performing load carrying operations during an execution of a task by an operator in manual workstation. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method permits to reduce quantity of standby energy, thus providing an embarked energy source with reduced weight and volume, which delivers the energy in response to a request by the operator of the trolley, and hence easily maneuvering the workshop trolley.
