PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium which can avoid a high manufacturing cost and can provide a graphical indication with high image quality. SOLUTION: An AV clip recorded on a BD-ROM is a stream generated by multiplexing a graphics stream and a moving image stream. A PES packet configuring a graphics stream includes a packet storing graphics data (ODS) and a packet storing control information (PCS). The DTS value of the ODS indicates a decode timing of the graphics data, and the PCS has type information that indicates a start of a memory management. The PTS value of the PCS indicates a timing at which the decoded graphics data are added on a moving image stream to display it. The DTS value of the PCS indicates a start point of a memory management on a reproduction time axis of a digital stream, and a timing at which the control information is read out to a memory.
