PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat supply system capable of improving operation efficiency of a whole system by reducing power losses of a heat source device and a feed pump. SOLUTION: A heat source side system 4 is provided for producing and supplying a heat transfer medium or a cold transfer medium, and a heat load side system 6 is provided for consuming heat or cold transferred by the heat transfer medium or the cold transfer medium. A bypass passage 36 bypassing a heat load 16 is provided between a heat load side supply passage 18 and a heat load side return passage 20 of the heat load side system 6. If a temperature of the heat transfer medium or the cold transfer medium returning from the heat load 16 to the heat source side system 4 is higher than a set upper temperature or lower than a set lower temperature, the heat transfer medium or the cold transfer medium returning through the heat load side return passage 20 is returned to the heat load side supply passage 18 through the bypass passage 36.
