PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a unit for controlling the charge of sub-raw materials into a converter, in which while keeping the automatic charge of the sub-raw materials into the converter with a calculator, the addition and the change of segmenting and charging timing are easily performed by intervention of an operator, and the blow-refining can be performed smoothly without developing the spouting and delaying the blowing. SOLUTION: In the method for controlling the charge of the sub-raw materials into the converter, in which an oxygen-blowing pattern for changing the oxygen-blowing amount and a lance height, with the integrated oxygen amount actual result supplied into the converter according to blowing molten iron components, and a kind of steel to be produced, etc., is decided and charging of the sub-raw material into the converter is performed according to this pattern; the sub-raw material charging pattern needed to set each brand of the sub-raw material is set by each group grouped into a same system brand and also, a time needed to the segmentation of the sub-raw material is considered, and the segmenting timing and the charging timing are individually set.
