A squeeze mode smart MR(magnetroheological) fluid damper is provided to perform vibration control more effectively with the optimum control force. A squeeze mode smart MR(magnetroheological) fluid damper(100) includes a cylinder(110) provided with a fluid chamber(114) filled with MR(magnetroheological) fluids, a piston rod(116) installed to the inside of the cylinder to make one end extended to the outside of the cylinder via the fluid chamber and integrated with a piston(116d) adhered closely to the inside of the fluid chamber to make an alternating motion, a magnetism chamber casing(121) provided with a magnetism chamber(122) and assembled to the outside of the cylinder, an electromagnet(124) installed to the inside of the magnetism chamber to form a magnetic field with an electric current provided from the outside, primary and secondary passages(118a,118b) formed to make MR fluids move among two inside spaces(114a,114b) of the fluid chamber partitioned by the piston and the magnetism chamber, and a MR fluid refilling unit(130) installed to refill the fluid chamber with volatile MR fluids to have the optimum control force.
