A mobile terminal having a digital broadcast reception function and a method for managing broadcast service information using the same are provided to allow a user to easily use broadcast program organization information of different structures like single information and easily cope with new broadcast environment standards. A digital broadcast receiving unit(1) receives one or more digital broadcast service information. A memory(4) stores the received digital broadcast service information and stores a meta data interface that maps the digital broadcast service information by meaning structure. A controller(3) extracts the digital broadcast service information from the memory(4) by using the meta data interface, and outputs a control signal to output the extract result in such a form that can be recognized by a user. A display unit(5) displays the extract result according to the control signal of the controller(3).
