<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor excited by a long-wavelength light source in an ultraviolet region or a visible region of a blue color to a violet color and emitting light mainly in a visible region of the violet color through the blue color and a yellow color to a red color, and to provide a light-emitting diode easily mounted, excellent in color rendering properties, given at a low cost, and scarcely causing changes in coloration due to radiation angles. <P>SOLUTION: The phosphor made of SiC is excited by the external light source and emits the light, wherein the substance is doped by at least one kind of elements of B and Al, and further by N. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
