<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device in which information for the semiconductor device is prevented from being recognized easily by unspecified persons. <P>SOLUTION: This semiconductor device 1 comprises an island 10 mounted with a semiconductor chip 40, a tape 20 which is provided on the island 10 to indicate information for the semiconductor device 1, and a sealing resin 30 (coating film) for covering the tape 20.
