PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch sensor for surely and quickly detecting abutment against on an object. SOLUTION: The touch sensor 10 comprises a first linear electrode 1; a second cylindrical electrode 2 for elastically deforming by external force due to the contact on the object, by involving the first electrode 1 via a support means having insulation; and a coupling member 3 coupled with the second electrode 2, by supporting the first electrode 1 from at least one direction as the support means. The touch sensor 10 outputs electrostatic capacity between the first electrode 1 and the second electrode 2 that changes due to the abutment of the object. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
