For cementing in a drilled hole by cement introduced from a pressure pipe or by a synthetic resin composition, e.g. in a cartridge, an anchor bolt which may be made of synthetic resin has at its penetrating end a tip portion 1 which constitutes less than half the length of the bolt and is separable from the main shank 2 being connected by a screwthread so as to be reusable. The tip 1 may be of low - expansion cast steel (or of polyester resin or phenolic resin reinforced with glass fibre) and have a left - or right - hand thread 4 to enable it to be screwed into the synthetic resin cement. There may be a plain as well as a threaded portion. There may also be grooves 10 which may extend beyond, Fig. 2 (not shown), a ring 6<SP>11</SP> which seals off the cement-containing end of the drill hole. The ring 6<SP>11</SP> may be of hard rubber or synthetic resin and located in an annular groove, Fig. 1 (not shown), or it may be cemented to the tip 1 or secured by nuts 11<SP>1</SP>, 11<SP>11</SP>. The end of the shank 2 which extends from the drill hole has keying surfaces, such as are provided by a squared end, for use with a tool and is also threaded to receive a nut. |
