PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air intake device of a small planing boat capable of suppressing the temperature rise of a plug cap having an ignition coil. SOLUTION: An engine E using a plug cap 60 having an ignition coil projecting upwardly from a cylinder head 401 is mounted on an air intake device of a small planing boat. An air box 41 is arranged above the cylinder head 401, and an air intake port 415 is formed in a lower side of the air box 41, and arranged separately from the cylinder head 401 so as to form a sucked air flow around the plug cap 60 having the ignition coil.
