<p>A weft inserting mechanism in a loom for producing two fabrics side by side and laying two wefts in each fabric comprises a rocker mounted to pivot about a bearing point on the loom frame, pivoted at a second point to an operating arm for the inserter and at a third point to a crank, the operating arm being pivoted at one end to an inserter frame and guided at the other end to oscillate in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the inserter movement. The weft inserting mechanism is mounted centrally of the looms and has two weft inserters at each end.</p> |
