<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transcription device and a transcription method in which remaining of untranscribed materials left on a film are prevented when the materials formed on the film are periodically transcribed onto a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: a first conveying means that conveys a transcription film on which a material for transcription is applied; a second conveying means that conveys the substrate on which the transcription material is transcribed in parallel with the transcription film; a press machine that presses the transcription film at a prescribed cycle and transcribes the material pieces onto the substrate; a control part that controls the conveying direction of the transcription film at the first conveying part and a press cycle by the press machine; and a detecting part that detects a prescribed position of the material on the transcription film. In the first conveying part, the transcription film is peeled-off from the material piece transcribed onto the substrate, and in the control part, the transcription stops retreating backward, and the press machine is operated, when a matching of a down stream side tip of the material on the transcription film and a down stream side tip of a press domain in the press machine is detected by the detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
