PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercising device by which even an elderly person can safely do muscle training, load can be changed without using weights, and one can easily assume postures required when doing the muscle training. SOLUTION: A loading device 20 has a motor 30, a gear train 34, 38, 46, 48, 54 mechanically coupling the output shaft 32 of the motor and the output shaft 50, the output of the motor 30 is transmitted as the load via the gear train and load transmitting units 22, 22A, 22B and is used as the power adjusting the positions of the load transmitting units 22, 22A, 22B to proper positions.
