PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance optical system driving device having enhanced accuracy and control speed. SOLUTION: This optical system driving device is equipped with a floodlighting lens 10, a holder 12 for holding the floodlighting lens 10, wire springs 48A-48H for movably supporting the holder 12 in the vertical direction to the optical axis of the floodlighting lens 10, an X-coil 18 and Y-coils 22A, 22B for making the holder 12 move in the vertical direction to the optical axis of the floodlighting lens 10, and a sensor for detecting the position of the holder 12. In the device, the wire springs 48A-48H comprise a metal, and the sensor includes light-emitting diodes 28A, 28B and a position sensor, and either of the light-emitting diodes 28A, 28B and the position sensor is loaded on the holder 12, and power feeding to the light-emitting diodes 28A, 28B or the position sensor is performed by the wire springs 48A-48H.
