PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic carrier and a developer for electrostatic latent image development, excellent in durability, capable of forming a dense image free from an edge effect for a long period of time and free from color stains. SOLUTION: The carrier has a resin coating layer on a core material surface, wherein the resin coating layer contains a tin oxide containing antimony and the tin oxide containing antimony contains antimony by 0.0005 mass% to 1.0 mass% with respect to the whole electrophotographic carrier.
