<p>A multipole linear ion trap system and method of manufacturing such system with electrodes all-in-one are provided. The system comprise two or more sets of electrode assembly, wherein each of the electrode assembly defines a portion of a ion trap and is connected to RF and DC source, and a pair of end electrodes (5,6). The method of manufacturing electrodes all-in-one comprise processing an non-metallic substrate, covering a metal film on the surface of substrate, and removing a part of metal film on the insulation area. A scheme to developing the mass analyzer and the mass spectrographs with wide applications, multifunction, making easily and low cost is provided.</p> |
