<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko game machine with a rotary drum type pattern display device which facilitates the handling of abnormal command information. <P>SOLUTION: The main controller 32 carries out a win/loss lottery processing by a pattern start signal input and outputs a command signal containing the win or loss showing the result of the lottery, variation time and variation information to a pattern controller 34. The pattern controller 34 controls a stepping motor 29 of a mobile type pattern display device based on the command information input. When abnormal command information similar to the command information showing the result of the lottery processing is input into the pattern controller 34 upto the stoppage of the variation on the pattern display device after its start, the pattern controller 34 computes the number of pulses to be fed to the stepping motor 29 as a value determined by subtracting the current number of pulses from the number of pulses at a scheduled stop position and the number of pulses fed thus determined is divided by the variation time to calculate the frequency for the stepping motor 29.
