PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing wherein location of a superconductor can be altered from a refrigeration position to an action position. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a magnetic bearing, in this magnetic bearing, a rotation shaft 3 is magnetically conserved in a stator 1 in a floating state, the stator is equipped with the superconductor 5, the shaft is attached to an exciting system 10 of segmented permanent magnets, and one or plural segments can be moved mutually.
