PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sectional footrest being adjustable the height into three steps according to the growth of a child in the sectional footrest assisting the small child whose feet do not reach a floor when sitting in a chair for the adult. SOLUTION: Side plates are bored with bored holes 6 and 7, and the upper part is cut out by the thickness of a base board to form grooves 8, for adjusting the height of the base board into the three steps. Attachment plates 3, 4 and 5 are assembled on left/right side plates 2 with assembling screws. When the footrest is used at the height of the upper step, the base board 1 is mounted on the grooves 8 of the side plates, when used at the middle step, the base board is made to pass through the bored holes 6, and when used the lower step, the base board is made to pass through the bored holes 7, thus being used at the height according to the growth of the child.
