PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator, where the jumper wire of a coil can be arranged easily, and a brushless motor. SOLUTION: The first insulator 20 is provided with an extension 23 where the cover end face 21a of an annular cover 21 is axially extended toward the opposite side from an end frame. The extension 23 is provided with a plurality of cuts 24a and 24m which extend toward the base end from the tip in its extensional direction. The jumper wire 41a between a coil part U1 and a coil part U4 is positioned axially at the bottom face 25a of the first cut 24a and the bottom face 25b of the second cut 24m, and also it is positioned in its circumferential direction by the flank 26a of the first cut 24a and the flank 26b of the second cut 24m.
