A light emitting device, an electronic appliance, and a driving method are provided to realize optimum structure in view of cost, a head size, and an operational stability. A plurality of light emitting devices emits light according to driving signals. A controller(20) adjusts timing used to apply the driving signals to the light emitting devices between a plurality of blocks including the light emitting devices, so that control signals ordering the timing are generated according to the blocks. A plurality of driving units is installed in the blocks, respectively, and applies the driving signals to the light emitting devices belonging to the blocks. The controller(20) performs grouping with respect to blocks to simultaneously supply the driving signals and generates control signals having different timing according to the groups. The controller(20) reconstructs the blocks belonging to a group according a setting signal. |
